The Chez Marcel aire, in Les Issambres, has 14 stabilised-gravel pitches 40 m from La Gaillarde beach: €16 to €24 a night (€19.20 to €27.20 with taxes), with electricity, water, waste disposal and showers.

The two aires are about 46 km apart, an hour’s drive. The Camping-Car Park is in Le Lavandou, in the Cavalière district on the Corniche des Maures; Chez Marcel is in Les Issambres, on the Côte d’Azur. Both face the sea: at Cavalière, a car park and the avenue du Cap-Nègre lie between the terraces and the beach; at Chez Marcel, a tunnel runs under the D559.

Taxes included, the Camping-Car Park Cavalière costs €28.20 until 14 November, then €22.08. Chez Marcel costs €23.20 until 2 October, €19.20 until 18 December and €27.20 in July and August: €1 to €9 less, except over the Christmas and New Year holidays. Allow for our €2.50 booking fee per online booking, and the Camping-Car Park’s €5 access card on your first visit.

Quiet nights?

At Cavalière, the beach bars and clubs opposite play music some nights, mostly at weekends, until 3 a.m. in summer: 25 reviews from 2025 and 2026 mention it, although some see it as a lively atmosphere. The Au Paradis des Campeurs campsite runs no entertainment, and the Chez Marcel aire has only 14 pitches.

What ground for your motorhome?
