The Chez Marcel aire, in Les Issambres, has 14 pitches facing La Gaillarde beach and is open all year round: €16 to €24 a night, electricity, water and waste disposal included.

L’Eau Vive is inland, in the Argens plain, near Les Arcs-Draguignan station; Chez Marcel is on the Les Issambres coast. They are 33 km apart, a 35-minute drive.

What budget for a night for two?

On the same dates, Chez Marcel costs €7 to €12 less a night: €24 against €33 in high summer, €18 against €27 in March (tourist tax extra at both, plus a €2.50 booking fee for an online booking with us). Each extra person costs €7 to €9 at L’Eau Vive, €0 to €6 at Chez Marcel.

Travelling out of season?

The Chez Marcel aire is open all year round, at €16 a night from October to mid-December, showers included. L’Eau Vive closes from November to February, and its showers only open from April to September.

Travelling with a dog?

L’Eau Vive only accepts dogs under 10 kg, one per pitch. Chez Marcel welcomes pets, with a supplement depending on the season, except category 1 and 2 dogs.

The sea or inland?

For the sea, Chez Marcel: La Gaillarde beach is a 1-minute walk away. L’Eau Vive is 20 km from the coast, 30 minutes’ drive from the nearest beaches, but well placed for the Verdon Gorge, the vineyards and the train.
